Valerie Ramkhelawan is a licensed speech-language pathologist with over a decade of experience supporting children and school teams across diverse educational settings. She specializes in comprehensive speech and language evaluations, telepractice service delivery, and data-driven recommendations that support equitable access to communication and learning. Valerie has extensive experience conducting standardized and dynamic assessments for students with a wide range of communication needs, including expressive and receptive language disorders, pragmatic language challenges, articulation, fluency, and AAC. She is particularly skilled in translating complex evaluation findings into clear, actionable recommendations that guide IEP development and instructional planning. In addition to her work with the New York City Department of Education, Valerie provides remote evaluations and consultation to schools across multiple states. She is known for her collaborative approach and her ability to support multidisciplinary teams through coaching, consultation, and practical communication strategies that extend beyond the therapy session. Valerie holds a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and brings a strong background in both clinical practice and systems-level collaboration to her work.
